Memory Verse

“When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” (John 11:4)

This week devotion is a prophetic word to everyone who is sick. The Lord is saying to you that “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby”.

Beloved, I may not know what you are going through; I may not understand the nature of your illness, but there is a God in heaven whose name is Jehovah Elohim, the maker of heaven and the earth. He knows all things and He alone can do all things. He is the one saying to you today that this sickness is not unto death.

When God is saying that you will not die, what is He actually saying? He is saying that even if you die in this physical world, He can bring you back to life or if He like he can raise you up to live with him in heaven. How do I know this? Jesus said in John 11:25 “...I’m the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”. Today, the Lord is saying to you who have lost all hope “fear not! This sickness is not unto death”.

Lazarus was sick unto death and when Jesus was told, he said this sickness is not unto death but before Jesus got to him, he was already laid in the grave. To man, everything concerning Lazarus was all over: his hope was all over; his career was all over; his prayers and aspirations were all over. But to God, it is not over yet. Jesus stood by the word he has earlier released concerning Lazarus and brought him back to life (John 11:43-44). I pray for everyone who thought everything is all over; the Lord will bring you back to life in the name of Jesus.

As a matter of fact and testimony, I have been afflicted several times by the wicked: I’ve been afflicted with sickness through dream; I’ve been shot in the dream several times but the Lord Jesus has brought me back to life. Jesus can do the same for you if you trust in Him and call for his help. That sickness may not be ordinary! Run to the Lord today.

Salvation Conner

Though you may think it is all over, but it is not over yet if you can make a decision to give your life to Christ Jesus today. If you will like to give your life to Christ, please say this short prayer of salvation. God bless you.

Prayer

Everlasting God, I submit the totality of my life into your hand, please heal me of all my sickness and diseases. Father, let me not die but let me live to declare the works of the Lord Jesus in this land of the living. (In Jesus name I pray - amen).
