dangerous drugs for suicide at hand
Are you tired of this life and thinking of terminating your own life? Are you fed up with the seemingly insurmountable problems confronting you and you feel the only way out is to commit suicide? Friend, suicide is not the answer. If you can take a few minutes to read this article, you will discover that there is more to life than taking your own life. Besides, you will also discover that there is no problem, situations or challenges that doesn’t have a solution. The scripture says in Luke 1:37 “for with God nothing shall be impossible”.

Honestly, I believe that you must be passing through a difficult situation if not you won’t think of committing a suicide. But I want you to take a few moments to think; after taking your own life, what will your enemy say (I mean those ‘guys’ that hate you and want you dead)? They will be happy off course. They will say that idiot is gone. We frustrated him to death. Meanwhile your loved ones will be shattered; they will be in pain and sorrow. I pray that your enemy will not rejoice over you in Jesus name.

Secondly, you need to understand this; the life you are about to take is not yours. You did not create yourself. In fact, it is not even your father and mother that created you. They only had sex to enjoy themselves. How you came to being they don’t know. But there is somebody that formed you from the womb of your mother. He is known as Jehovah – the Almighty God. He knows all the problems you are passing through and He can solve every difficult problem if you cry to him in prayer.

“The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)

It is a sin to destroy what is not yours. If you commit suicide, you have committed a sin that doesn’t give you any opportunity of repentance. Beware!

The third and perhaps the most essential thing you need to know is that there is life after death. Killing yourself does not solve your problems. As a matter of fact, it is the beginning of everlasting sorrow. Believe me sincerely, if you kill yourself, you will account for it at the gate of heaven. You will be denied to enter your rest. Instead you will be sent to hell: a place of torment; a place where there is gnashing of teeth; a place of everlasting burning; a place where the worms never dies. In short your present predicament is nothing compared to the sorrows awaiting you in hell. Be warned! Jesus gave a brief illustration of hell in Luke 16:22-24

“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”

You may think that God will understand your problems and as result pardoned you. Yes God understand your problems, but will charge you for destroying the life that you did not create. He will see you as a murderer and send you to where murderers belong (Revelation 21:8). So you see suicide is not the answer.

Finally, you may say if suicide is not the answer, what is the answer to my problems? Well, I have good news for you, Jesus is the answer to all the problems. He knows all things and can do all things (John21:17). He understands your challenges, the burdens in your heart and all your troubles. He’s calling you to come so that he can solve all your problems.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

If you cast away that instrument of suicide and call unto God in prayer today (through the name of Jesus), I’m sure He will answer you and show you the way out of your present predicament. But before you can use the name of Jesus in prayer you need to have a relationship with him. I mean you need to accept him as your Lord and Saviour. If you are ready, bow down your head and say this short prayer of salvation.

After you have prayed the prayer of salvation, look for a Christian counsellor around you, explain your problems to him/her. He / She will counsel you and pray with you. God bless you in Jesus name.

Above all remember that suicide is not the answer.
